Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
IntimiMate is operated by J'Agape LLC ("IntimiMate", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the IntimiMate mobile app and related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
We built IntimiMate to help couples grow closer. Your relationship data is personal, so we keep our approach simple: we collect only what we need to run and improve the Service, we do not sell your personal information, and we are clear about who helps us process it.
1. Summary
- We collect the account details you sign in with, the relationship and profile information you choose to add, and basic technical data needed to run the app.
- We use this information to provide the Service, personalize your experience, and make the app better. Nothing more.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- Sensitive content you write, such as journal entries and check-ins, is encrypted before it is stored.
- We use a small set of trusted providers (listed below) to host data and power AI features. They process data on our behalf under contract.
- You can view, export, and delete your data from inside the app at any time.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider. We use this to create and secure your account.
- Profile and relationship information. Details you add to build your profile, such as your relationship status, partner information, love languages, goals, success stories, and the answers you tap through to build your psychological relationship profile.
- Content you create. Journal entries, daily check-ins, messages you write to our AI tools, and photos you upload as an avatar.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. App version, device type, operating system, and general interaction data needed to keep the app working and to diagnose problems.
- Diagnostics and crash data. When the app encounters an error, limited technical details are sent to our error-monitoring provider so we can fix it.
- Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store the token needed to deliver them.
Information collected with your permission
- Location. If you use location-based features such as the date planner, and only if you grant permission, we use your device location to suggest relevant ideas. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
We do not collect more than we need, and you are never required to provide free-form personal details to use the core Service.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account.
- Personalize your experience, including AI-generated suggestions, your psychological relationship profile, and recommendations tailored to you.
- Remember context across sessions so AI features stay helpful and consistent.
- Respond to your requests and provide support.
- Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your private relationship content to train third-party advertising models, and we do not profile you for advertising.
4. Sensitive information and encryption
Some content you create is sensitive by nature. Journal entries and check-in content are protected with field-level AES-256-GCM encryption before they are stored, using a per-user key. This is designed so that this content is not readable in plain text at rest in our database.
Because IntimiMate involves relationship reflections, you choose what to share. Please avoid entering information you would not want stored, and never enter financial account numbers, government identifiers, or passwords into free-text fields.
5. How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:
Service providers (subprocessors)
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the Service. They process data on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes we direct:
| Provider | Purpose | Reference |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase and Google Cloud | Authentication, database, file storage, hosting, and our backend API | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Google Vertex AI | Powers AI features such as date ideas, the conversation tool, and your profile narrative | cloud.google.com/terms/data-processing-addendum |
| Neon | Stores AI memory used to keep personalization consistent | neon.com/privacy-policy |
| Sentry | Crash and error diagnostics | sentry.io/privacy |
With your partner
If you link with a partner, certain profile details you choose to share become visible to them inside the app. You control what is linked.
Legal and safety
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or IntimiMate.
Business transfers
If IntimiMate is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
6. AI features and your data
IntimiMate uses AI to generate suggestions, write your psychological profile narrative, and power conversation tools. To do this:
- Relevant profile and prompt information is sent to our AI provider (Google Vertex AI) to generate a response.
- A compact, relevant summary of your profile and history may be stored as "memory" so that AI features stay consistent across sessions.
- AI output is for reflection and growth. See the Terms of Service for important limits on relying on it.
You can clear AI-related personalization by deleting the underlying profile data in the app.
7. Affiliate links and recommendations
Some content in IntimiMate, such as recommended products, books, services, or experiences, may include affiliate links. If you follow one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the affiliate partner at no extra cost to you.
We only recommend things we believe fit the context, and affiliate relationships do not change the price you pay. We do not share your personal information with affiliate partners to enable these links; the commission is attributed by the partner's own systems when you choose to click through.
8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, journal, check-ins, uploaded photos, and associated data, and we instruct our providers to do the same, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
9. Your rights and choices
You are in control of your data:
- Access and edit. View and update your profile and content in the app.
- Export. Most of your content is visible to you directly in the app.
- Delete. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Profile → Settings → Delete account.
- Permissions. You can turn location and notification permissions on or off in your device settings at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to object to certain processing. We honor these rights for all users where they apply. To make a request, contact us at support@kaddatechnologies.com.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive content at rest, and access controls that limit data to your own account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
11. Children
IntimiMate is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International data transfers
Our providers may process and store data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in these locations.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
