Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and J'Agape LLC ("IntimiMate", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the IntimiMate mobile app and related services (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
IntimiMate is a relationship-coaching app operated by J'Agape LLC. We provide tools, content, and AI-powered guidance designed to help couples and individuals strengthen their relationships.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using IntimiMate, you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into these Terms.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Sign in is handled through Google or Apple; you must comply with their terms as well. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Some features, such as premium content and AI tools, require a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms.
- Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your app store account settings.
- Refunds are handled by the app store under their respective policies.
We may change subscription pricing or features. Where required, we will give you notice before changes take effect.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Use the Service to harm, harass, or impersonate another person.
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create in IntimiMate, such as journal entries, profile information, goals, and stories ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it.
7. AI features and guidance
IntimiMate uses AI to generate suggestions, reflections, profile narratives, and conversation guidance. AI output:
- Is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to your situation.
- Is provided for personal reflection and growth, not as professional advice.
- Should be reviewed with your own judgment before you act on it.
You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content.
8. Not professional or medical advice
IntimiMate provides relationship education and coaching-style content. It is not therapy, counseling, medical, legal, or mental-health treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental-health emergency, contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services immediately. Where the app surfaces licensed counselors, any relationship you form with them is between you and that professional.
9. Affiliate links and third-party services
The Service may include affiliate links to third-party products, services, or content. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, or services, and your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, text, graphics, and logos (other than Your Content), is owned by J'Agape LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any guidance will produce particular results.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, J'Agape LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless J'Agape LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
